Manifesto

Camden Conservatives stood in the election in May 2018 to deliver a cleaner, greener, and safer borough.  Although we did not win the election, we will still fight for as much of it to be implemented by Camden's Labour administration as possible.

Camden Conservatives manifesto front coverThis manifesto was written after speaking to thousands of local residents and asking them what they wanted from their Council: from restoring weekly bin collections to putting more police on the streets, and from ensuring delivering outstanding school places to helping private renters pay their deposits.

Camden Conservatives are the only party with a rounded, grounded, and costed plan. For the last eight years, we have been the only party to present a costed alternative budget to Labour's: identifying areas where savings could be made without affecting front-line services, so we could preserve core services and reduce Council Tax.

As our manifesto shows, our team is uniquely placed to deliver it, too, with local champions that are passionate about these issues because they live them every day.

Take our schools policy: developed with the help of two teachers and two people that helped establish new state schools locally: all of whom stood for us in May. And our planning policy has been developed with the help of a planning barrister, an architect, and a structural engineer: all now Camden Conservative councillors. The list goes on.

By voting for Conservative candidates on 3rd May, you're voting for local champions with a developed and deliverable plan for a cleaner, greener, and safer borough.
